I’m usually out in nature a lot. I’ve always liked being in the forest surrounded by nothing but my thoughts.
Especially when I was in my early 20s, I could walk for hours. It was like meditation.
And the last couple of weeks, I’ve also noticed that I walk and usually talk with people. I can catch up with family and friends. Which makes those around me feel like I care for them.
Walking also calms my brain and makes my lymph system happy.
With all this rambling, I just want to mention how important I think spending time outside is and how important it is to connect with nature from time to time. Especially when you live in London.
London is very stressful, and pollution is everywhere. When I get home and blow my nose (TMI), I can see particles that make you realize how much sh*t we are breathing in.
So, getting fresh air whenever you can is fundamental if you want to maintain good health until you’re older.
I miss the Swedish weather, nature, and seasons a lot when I’m in the UK. But one thing they’re good at in London is having parks available in every county. I think that’s really important for everyone.
So, after walking almost every day the last couple of weeks, I wanted to share some photos from the park closest to where I live. These pictures are from a couple of months back, when spring was still in the air.
Go out and breathe! Don’t stress. Just take everything at your own pace, maybe sit down and listen to the surroundings.
