Not knowing what you want in life - I think you do
The heart wants what it wants, it’s not always logical…

Hi guys! Hope you are all doing fine during these circumstances. The world isn’t what it justed to be only a couple of months ago. Just had to write down my thoughts from today’s regular morning walk, I started to think about that scene from the movie “The notebook” where Noah and Allie are standing on the pier and he asks her “What do you want?”, “What do you want?”, “WHAT… DO…YOU… WANT?” and the answer he gets is: “It’s not that easy…”

“What’s meant to be will always find its way. Always.”

I can feel the frustration from both sides. Noah wants an answer and I believe everyone knows deep inside, or at least has a clue, what to do. Allie intends to have the cake and eat it too, just because both of them (Noah and the one she’s supposed to marry) are so wonderful in their own ways, but mostly because her parents want her to marry someone with money and wealth.

With that said, I think we have to stop thinking about what others want and reflect on what is most important in our lives. As time goes by, what’s meant to be will always find its way. Always.

How to think if you’re a perfectionist? – Just start

How to think if you're a perfectionist? - Just start

Want everything to be perfect?

How to think if you’re a perfectionist? Something I’ve learned these past couple of years, is that there is no perfect time for things to be done. To be honest with you, my OCD-Genes (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder) makes me a bit excessively structured sometimes. I always wish to make everything as perfect as possible, whether it’s Christmas day, birthdays, or any other special occasion.

“But we have to realize that every single day is a gift and what’s “perfect” may not be the right thing”

But we have to realize that every single day is a gift and what’s “perfect” may not be the right thing. Every situation blesses us with a gift of knowledge, experience, a feeling and maybe inspiration and motivation as well. If we are fortunate, we go through our lives and feel like we’re “on cloud nine” from time to time, when we think about something we want to achieve, something exciting to strive for and so on. Hopefully they make you get on with it or at least try, which is the first step towards something.

After a while that feeling may diminish or fade away and we end up quitting, feeling down or simply fail in our endeavor. In such situations, you have to remember that you at least tried (however cliché that may sound). And remember that it takes courage to try something, do something and put yourself out there. Even more so, when you don’t feel like you have 100% control or previous experience.

“Life is supposed to be lived, not watched”

Everything I’ve read and learned will end up on this site as well as the things I love. Things that inspire me and things that I think everyone should know. When I feel like I’m on those clouds, I just want to share it with the world. I believe that every human being is born with a good heart. But life has its ups and downs and inflicts us with tiny damages, whether it’s hormonally, physically, psychologically, etc. That’s why I think all of these subjects are important to talk about!

Life is supposed to be lived, not watched. Therefore, you will be on the move and that will affect you in one way or another. When you’re afraid, unsure, lost or worried, but feel motivated, inspired and happy at the same time, that’s when you know it’s time to get off your bum and reach for the person you want to be. It’s never too late! My advice is to just get on with it, one way or another! The small steps will add up. For me, this blog is that first step.
